You won't find a better made, less expensive stamp mount anywhere!
Unmounted stamps have three primary advantages over regular wood handled stamps.
  1. Unmounted stamps are much less expensive than mounted stamps.
  2. Unmounted stamps use at least 75% less storage space.
  3. Unmounted stamps are more easily positioned with the use of AcrylView Acrylic Stamp Mounts.
AcrylView's Traditional Acrylic Stamp Mounts can be used with clear unmounted stamps.
  • Some unmounted stamps are clear and specifically designed for use with clear acrylic mounts. We are not aware of any manufacturer's clear stamps that will not temporarily attach itself to acrylic, but you should confirm this with the stamp manufacturer.
  • Generally speaking these clear stamps are made with a soft thermoset plastic. This plastic compound has a “clingy or tacky” texture so that the flat surface on the back of the stamp clings to any non-porous surface. Since both the stamps and acrylic mounts are clear, exact image placement is greatly simplified.
  • This ease of image placement is the primary advantage of clear stamps.

Clear stamps have some drawbacks.
  1. Not many stamp designers use this compound, so selection is limited.
  2. These stamps are usually more expensive than regular RTV (rubber) stamps.
  3. Most stamp artists insist that stamps have a cushion for optimum image quality.
AcrylView Traditional Stamp Mounts can be used with all unmounted rubber stamps.
  • You can permanently mount these stamps to AcrylView Traditional Acrylic Mounts with PermaMount Cushion. PermaMount Cushion in combination with our Traditional 6mm Acrylic Mounts, gives you the advantage of easier image placement and still achieves about 75% less storage space. We recommend this method for smaller sized stamps that you use often.   • You can temporarily mount rubber stamps with use MountEZ Cushion and AcrylView Traditional acrylic mounts with the use of double face tapes, adhesives, or glue stick.
  • You can temporarily mount rubber stamps with AcrylView Cling Foam® and Traditional Acrylic Mounts. This is perhaps the easiest method as it requires no adhesives and has all of the advantages of using unmounted stamps.
AcrylView StampEZ Mounts with MountEZ Cushion is a clean, durable mounting method.
  • You can temporarily mount all RTV stamps with StampEZ Stamp Mounts and MountEZ Cushion. This temporary mounting method works well on all of the different stamps that are one inch, or larger.
  • MountEZ Cushion is the toughest cushion available.
  • This method requires no adhesives or glue. The MountEZ cushion is designed to work with suction cups that are built into the StampEZ Stamp Mounts.
